App versus browser: strengths of each
Our native Android APK offers offline caching, so cached market data and game rules remain accessible even if your connection drops mobile bankingefly. Push notifications alert you to live-dealer table openings, Liga 1 kickoff times, or account updates. The app also loads faster on repeat visits because assets are stored locally. The iOS and web versions run in your browser, which means no installation step and automatic updates—you always access the latest version without manual upgrades. Both paths connect to the same 138 account and payment system, so your choice depends on device preference and whether you value offline access or automatic updates more.
Device compatibility
Our 138 platform runs on Android 7.0 and later, iOS 12 and later, and any modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Older devices may experience slower load times or missing features, but we test on mid-range phones to ensure broad compatibility. If you encounter issues on a specific device, our support team can advise on browser settings or app permissions that may help.
Common installation issues and solutions
Android users may see a warning about "Unknown Sources" when installing the APK—this is normal for apps outside the Google Play Store. Enable the setting in your device's Security menu, install the APK, then disable the setting again if you prefer. iOS users should ensure they are using Safari and have enough free storage; if the app does not load, clear Safari cache and try again. Web users on slow connections may see a loading spinner; refresh the page or wait a few seconds for assets to cache. If you see certificate warnings, your device's date and time may be incorrect—check your system clock and try again. We at 138 use industry-standard SSL encryption, so certificate errors are usually device-side issues, not platform issues.
Data, permissions, and account security
Our 138 app requests only the permissions it needs: internet access to connect to our servers, and storage access to cache game data and transaction history. We do not access your contacts, camera, or location. Your account credentials are encrypted in transit and at rest; we never store your password in plain text. When you log in, your session is tied to your device and IP address, so if someone else tries to access your account from a different location, we flag it and may require re-authentication. You can review your login history and active sessions in your account settings and sign out remotely if needed. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and contact our support team.
